On 1 October 2018 Nicoletta De Lucia joined our team as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for coordinating Finance, Administration and Controlling along with a team of 10 people.
The role of CFO, a new role within DoveVivo, is the next step in the company’s managerialisation process, strengthening the current team so it can support our ambitious growth process, started almost 12 years ago from a business idea by Valerio Fonseca and William Maggio. DoveVivo aims to turnover €100m by 2022, more than quadrupling the 2018 results (€22m), with a plan to expand into new areas both in Italy and abroad, and develop new business lines, still relating to flat sharing and student housing.
Nicoletta’s appointment highlights our promotion of women to the top of the company: our “quota for women” in management is now over 50%, led by CEO Chiara Laudanna – who, incidentally, was chosen to take part in InTheBoardroom, the executive teaching programme created by Valore D which aims to drive and promote talented women to get on Boards of Directors.
After graduating in Economics, Nicoletta began her professional career as a Business Unit Controller in BULL Italia Spa, before moving three years later to CSC, an American integrated systems company, where she held the role of Financial Analyst for four years. She then moved to Hitachi Data Systems as a Finance & Administration Manager, becoming a key player in the company’s ambitious growth plans. In 2015 she joined the Dell EMC group as Finance & Business Operation Director, working closely with the Country Manager and managing all Finance, Tax and Accounting activities.
